Product Description

by Brooke Jorden (Author), Alex Zhdanov (Illustrator)

Every creature on Earth

has a dance all its own,

but none so well-known

as the flamingo's flamenco.

A flamenco-dancing flamingo struts and swaggers, certain that he is the best dancer in the animal kingdom. From hip hopping hippos to tap dancing tigers, each animal finds its own jungle boogie, and Flamingo soon discovers that no two dancers are the same--and that's okay A fantastic book for any child who loves dancing or animals, Flamingo Flamenco and its rhythmic text and boldly colored animals will get your little dancers wriggling and jiggling.

Author Biography

Brooke Jorden earned a BA in English and editing from Brigham Young University. The author of the Lit for Little Hands series and other books for children, Brooke is also the managing editor at Familius and the mother of three.

Alex Zhdanov is an illustrator from the Russian city of Ekaterinburg, located on the border of Europe and Asia.
As a child, Zhdanov always had pencils and a drawing surface at hand (whether a piece of paper, wallpaper on the walls, or even the surface of the table). He was a little dreamer who embodied his fantasies in drawings.
When he went to study at the university, he left drawing behind to specialize in transport management. But even then, the margins and empty pages of all his notebooks were covered in his drawings. As he pursued a career, he realized that he needed to physically feel and see the result of his work. So, after 10 years, he returned to his favorite business: illustration. Zhdanov shares his dreams through the books he illustrates.Normal0falsefalsefalseEN-USJAX-NONE
