Lyn marries for a few years and divorces. In Washington, Lyn works for the Central Intelligence Agency and later manages a Congressman's Washington Office, during which time she again becomes pregnant. The baby's father fails to marry her as promised. Lyn gives the baby up for adoption under pressure from her parents. Ashamed, they convince her to go away to Arizona., stay with her uncle, and start a new life far away from home. In Arizona Lyn meets and marries Steve. Fifteen years later Lyn & Steve move to Washington, D.C., and Lyn's two children come back into her life and Steve's in a series of sweet and sour experiences.The stories of the other two of the four adopted children are equally riveting, emotionally charged stories, who like Lyn's two children, Shelley and Michael, as adults, find their birth families. Be prepared to ride an emotional roller coaster as tears are shed, and great joy is felt.
