Author Biography

Like the heroine of this novel, the author studied journalism at the University of Washington in the turbulent 1960s ad 70s. He served in the military and went on to become a reporter and editor for several newspapers in Washington and Idaho. He is the author of several non-fiction books and a collection of short stories, and today writes a weekly blog on nature and rural living.
