The career military man and retired general Carlos Julio Pe aloza saw combat against the Castro-Communist urban and rural guerrillas in the 1960s in Venezuela. President Nicolas Maduro s appearance in the plot is described. The crucial role of ex-president Rafael Caldera is exposed. Ch vez was the product of his thirst for power powerfully spurred by his eloquence and charisma.
