Author Biography

The author is a former University Professor with a Ph.D. in Speech and Higher and Adult Education as well as a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She has taught full time at S.U.N.Y. Albany, The College of Saint Rose, University of Northern Iowa, University of Louisiana, California State University, and part time at San Francisco State University, The Professional School of Psychology, and City College of San Francisco. While teaching part time, she maintained a full time private practice in clinical psychology. Dr. Wells is the author of a number of professional books and articles as well as having contributed poems to published anthologies. With this literary collection, the author has returned to her first love of language and poetry. Originally from the East Coast, she resides in San Francisco
