Author Biography
Ed Reese (1928-2015) graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1950. He served as a missionary, evangelist, pastor, professor, and consultant to many Christian organizations for more than 60 years. As a student at Moody Dr. Reese got a vision for two lifetime projects. The first was the publication of a Bible which placed events in the order in which they happened. He was the first to do this when he published The Reese Chronological Bible (1980). It was later updated as The Reese Chronological Study Bible (2016). Second was his desire to provide accurate biographies of men and women used by God, those well know and those who were seemingly unknown. Over the years countless hours were dedicated to research and interviews with Christian workers. The Reese Chronological Encyclopedia of Christian Biographies (2007) was the culmination of his lifetime research. Dr. Reese and his wife, Margaret, made their home in Tennessee, where he last taught a Crown College.
