Product Description

by John Lash (Author), Robert Pinsky (Author), Myra Burt (Author)

This is a small collection of poems expressing memories and fantasies, but more importantly serve as a backdrop to the discipline shown in the life of my father. Friends, real or fancied, here appear on a different kind of facebook. These faces have not aged in the decades since I first knew them and here they live from my heart, hidden no longer. Some fo the fantasies were inspired by the ficticous characters, "Dino", "Beach Boy", "Hamlet" and the "Saturday Night Fibber". Other poets grateful to have been quoted are: brother John Lash, Robert Pinsky, the former Poet Lauriate, Myra Burt and Ogden Nash who honored my long practice in allergy with his poem. DEDICATION: To Mother, a stately lady who gave me so much love; to the Haiberg family and Dorla, that flower who bloomed in the Dakotas and blessed me with daughter and sons and to Evelyn who contines that love. THANKS: to the Vencil family who tolerated me in critical times and also contributed to my thoughts expressed in these poems. Lastly, I thank DuEwa Frazier who motivated to take this endeavor by her own career in poetry.
