Product Description

by Austin Nguyen (Author)

Praise for Fade Away

"An edgy and true to life look at bullying and why it must be stopped."- James Pe a Former Director of Network Distribution at Hallmark Channel

"A must read for all teens nationwide."- Bob Proctor, Speaker, Author, and Featured Teacher from The Secret

"Fade Away is written to bring awareness to bullying in the school system."- Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo, Author & Founder of Teach Anti-Bullying, Inc.

Austin Nguyen invites the reader into the turbulent world of middle school halls, where bullies wreak havoc and survival hinges on the word and glance of a friend. He introduces us to Michael, a troubled youth who struggles in sports and in relationships. Searching for a reason to stay in this game called life, Michael's journey reminds us our words and our silence can hurt and damage as deeply as weapons. Then, Nguyen reminds us all how to capture the saving power of hope. This story is a must read for youth and adults alike, encouraging all to bridge the pains of life into brighter and better futures.

Author Biography

Austin Nguyen is a 15-year-old sophomore in high school on a mission to help teens realize they are perfect just as they are. Through his writing, he models and teaches middle and high school students self-acceptance and shows them how to block out hatred directed toward them by their peers. In addition to writing, Austin enjoys his music classes and sees himself becoming a teacher, perhaps in science or English.
