Suicide is a serious mental health problem and a social problem that is increasing every day in Peru, mainly in adolescents; for this reason the present research aims to determine the association of personal, family and social factors in students in the fifth year of secondary school with suicidal ideation.Suicidal ideation is a phenomenon that should be studied and analyzed not only from the medical point of view but from the social and family point of view, this in order to be treated and to be able to prevent it, hence the decision to publish the present study hoping that it will be to the reader's liking.
