Author Biography
Tom Griffith: Being a loner as a young man, I thought my free time would have produced mountains of creativity and that creativity would have lent itself to painting better pictures. What it did provide me was the opportunity to look for other creative outlets on which to spend that time. The time spent trying various artistic mediums such as watercolors and acrylics pushed me toward the end result of oil painting. Gravitating to oils was something I never thought I could achieve. I learned that in oil painting, one never "masters" anything.
