Author Biography

Rose Datoc Dall is an award-winning Filipina-American artist, born in 1968 in Washington, DC, and raised in Northern Virginia. She received a BFA in Art History and Fine Art Studio from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in 1990. Her contemporary figurative paintings are distinctive by her use of bold colors and dynamic design, but her most iconic work is her religious art, including depictions of Jesus Christ. Her artwork is in several permanent museum and university collections. Mrs. Dall and her husband are the parents of four children and a growing number of grandchildren.
