This history traces the evolution of the armaments and fortifications that came under the command of Fort MacArthur, with a focus on those that dotted the coastal hillsides of the Palos Verdes Peninsula and San Pedro, California. This 4th edition corrects minor errors, provides additional information on many of the weapons described, especially the Nike Hercules missile, and includes new photographs and drawings throughout.
