Author Biography
Noah Van Sciver is an Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist. His work has appeared in SpongeBob Comics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and The Best American Comics. Van Sciver is a regular contributor to MAD Magazine and has created seven graphic novels.
Paul Buhle, formerly a Senior Lecturer at Brown University, produces radical comics. He found¬ed the journal Radical America and, with Mari Jo Buhle, is coeditor of the Encyclopedia of the American Left. Steve Max, a founding member of Students for Democratic Society, has been an enduring socialist activist in the Midwest Academy, the Democratic Socialists of America, and the Reform Democratic clubs of New York. Dave Nance is a retired public interest lawyer, a musician, and a scriptwriter for nonfiction graphic novels.
