One of the most prevalent and severe neurologic disorders, epilepsy, is still poorly understood in terms of its detailed pathophysiology and, thus, the reason for most of its treatments. Epilepsy is a common neurological disorder that affects 1 in 100 people. Moreover, 10% of children will experience at least one seizure during their lifetime. There will be many questions after someone is diagnosed with epilepsy because they need to know what to do and what not to do, how to manage the condition, and what will happen to them in terms of their profession and marriage. (Stafstrom & Carmant, 2015).Epilepsy is a group of disorders that reflect underlying brain malfunctions and can have a number of origins. It is not a single disease entity. With a frequency of about 50 new cases each year per 100,000 people, As a result of the developing brain's greater sensitivity to seizures, around 75% of cases of epilepsy start in childhood (Buckley & Holmes, 2016).
