Although not a whiz in the kitchen like Emily Snook, Laura enjoys cooking (especially Italian food), making cookies with her three kids, and getting lost in a new craft project at her home in Scarsdale, New York. She is an active member of SCBWI, the 12x12 Challenge and a Children's Book Academy graduate. Her debut picture book, The Imposter, also released in 2024 with Gnome Road Publishing, and she has stories that have been featured in Wonder Crate - a subscription box service focused on empowering children.
