Doug Moench is a legendary comic book writer whose imaginative storytelling helped redefine Batman for a generation. With a career spanning both Marvel and DC Comics, Moench is best known for his influential work on Batman and Detective Comics, where he co-created enduring characters like Black Mask and Harvey Bullock. His writing blends psychological depth with genre experimentation, making him a natural fit for the Elseworlds line. In Elseworlds: Batman Omnibus Vol. 1, Moench's contributions--including Red Rain, Dark Joker: The Wild, and Brotherhood of the Bat--showcase his ability to twist familiar myths into haunting, visionary tales.
