Author Biography
Núria Picornell Segura nació en Barcelona, en un entorno artístico: su padre es músico y su madre ceramista. Ha trabajado en el sector agroalimentario e incluso en el Instituto de Investigación Vall d'Hebron. Ha conocido a muchas personas de diferentes culturas y realidades, lo que, unido a la experiencia personal de uno de sus tres hijos con el rotacismo, la ha llevado a escribir su primer libro publicado: "El pirata que no sabía decir la R". que no pudo decir R). Oskar Barón nació en Barcelona en 1970. Licenciado en Historia, también ha estudiado Bellas Artes, diseño gráfico y fotografía profesional y actualmente trabaja en impresión digital y fotografía analógica en blanco y negro. Siempre le ha gustado el cómic y de ahí nace su amor por el dibujo. El arte, la música y correr por la montaña son sus otras pasiones.
Núria Picornell Segura was born in Barcelona, in an artistic environment: her father is a musician and her mother a ceramist. She has worked in agri-food and even at the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute. She has met many people from different cultures and realities, which, together with the personal experience of one of her three sons with rotacism, has led her to write her first published book: "El pirata que no sabía decir la R" (The pirate who couldn't say R). Oskar Barón was born in Barcelona in 1970. With a degree in History, he has also studied Fine Arts, graphic design and professional photography and currently works in digital printing and black and white analog photography. He has always liked comics and that is where his love for drawing comes from. Art, music and running in the mountains are his other passions.
