Boyd is an author of the three software technology books: Software Engineering Reviews and Audits and Effective Methods for Software and Systems Integration, and Effective Processes for Quality Assurance. He contributes to articles to software engineering journals and magazines. His areas of expertise include software engineering, software programming, software requirements, software test and evaluation, software configuration management, software quality assurance, quality assurance, audits, reviews and software engineering evaluations. He is a speaker and a board member of numerous Software and Quality control conferences in the United States and international countries around the world.
