This workbook is used in the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention-Congress of Christian Education and in the Chickasaw District Congress of Christian Education (Oklahoma). This course identifies methods and approaches to Bible study. Spiritual growth and Christian maturity will also be obtained. The areas that will be covered are the structure of the Bible, resources for personal study and questions to enhance the learning and understanding of the Bible.
Author Biography
Pastor Eaton is nationally certified to instruct the following National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Workshops: Christian Home Characteristics of Expository Preaching Church Ministry to Singles Effective Bible Reading Organizing the Church for Christian Education Preparing Young Adult for Marriage Being Christian, Single, and Happy Pastor Michael Eaton was appointed in 2013 as an Adult Curriculum Writer for the Sunday School Publishing Board of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Incorporated. He has also contributed to the National Baptist Convention, USA, Incorporated, The Christian Education Informer, a journal of Christian education. Pastor Eaton has served as Master of Ceremonies of the 2011 Presidents Luncheon of the National Baptist, USA Inc, Congress of Christian Education. Pastor Eaton is a faculty member of the Oklahoma Missionary Baptist Convention Congress of Christian Education. He serves as the Oklahoma Baptist State Convention State Director of the NBC USA Inc. Faith-Based Development Initiative. Pastor Eaton also is a Board Member of the Oklahoma Missionary Baptist Convention Camp Burge Youth & Adolescent Development Foundation Incorporated. Pastor Eaton serves as 1st Vice Moderator of the Chickasaw Missionary Baptist Association. He serves as a faculty member of the Chickasaw District Congress of Christian Education. Pastor Eaton has also served as Lecturer for the Chickasaw Missionary Baptist Association Minister and Minister Wives Conference. He has published articles in several Texas Newspapers and The Preaching Magazine online, a national publication for preachers. Pastor Michael Eaton lives in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma with his wife Kimberly.
