Product Description

by John Tomikel (Author)

The first printing of this work sold out immediately and was never reprinted since Dr. Tomikel produced his comprehensive Edible Wild Plants and Useful Herbs. The charm of this work still has an appeal and so it is produced once again. This issue incorporates the pages of the first printing and has some photographs which were not in that printing. The hard cover version which accompanied the first printing can sometimes be found under "rare or antique" books. People of nature will be pleased to add this book to their collections.

Author Biography

John Tomikel, PhD, has been involved with edible wild plants since he was old enough to walk and grub dandelions. He had been employed as a teacher and professor for 43 years and retired from teaching at the age of 75. He is at this printing 87 years old and still foraging for wild plants.
