G. Varun Yadav is an engineering graduate by qualification and an acclaimed martial arts teacher by passion. He is a dedicated practitioner and instructor of Kalaripayattu, the ancient Indian combat system, and the author of the book 'Kalaripayattu: India's Own Combat Culture'. In addition to Kalaripayattu, Varun is a practitioner of other combat systems, like Silambam, Kali and Muay Thai, showcasing his diverse exposure and experience in martial arts. Based in Mysuru, Karnataka, he runs his martial arts academy, Kalari Sadhana: Mysuru, where he is committed to preserving and propagating India's rich martial heritage, with a special emphasis on Kalaripayattu. An ardent follower of Sanatana Dharma, Varun integrates his spiritual practice into his life and teaching.
