Product Description

by Sherralyn St Clair (Author)

This full color and fully illustrated book can be used by either a beginning or an experienced loom knitter. The animals in this book are quick and easy projects. They are made from a series of knitted tubes that are stuffed and assembled into charming animals. All the steps needed to produce each animal are carefully explained. The book is written for adults, but is suitable for children with adult help and supervision. Knitting instructions are provided for several dogs, cats, and rabbits. A pattern for a bear is included. Many of the animals can be made so that they can be posed. The crafter can select different kinds of yarn to get a completely different look for some of the animals. Smaller patterns yield animals that are a suitable size for pets for either 18" or for mini dolls.

Author Biography

After Sherralyn St. Clair had written several books on sewing for dolls she experimented with loom knitting for dolls. The result of her experiments was the children's book, Learn to Loom Knit for Your Dolls and now this book written for adults. She found that her MA in Curriculum and Instruction helped her write instructions for all her books.
