Author Biography
Sitara Maruf's experience includes serving as a print and broadcast journalist, a technical science writer and editor, a press officer, and an English lecturer in the United States. She has also served as a communications and media director in a governor's office.
She earned a master of arts degree in journalism and public affairs from American University in Washington, DC, and a master of science degree in biochemistry from University of Pune, India.
Sitara Maruf is credited with numerous articles, press releases, radio and television broadcasts, and interviews and received many awards and honors along the way.
Besides writing science and health articles, Sitara Maruf teaches her original curriculum, Easy-to-Learn English Grammar and Punctuation, at Success Time Academy and to overseas students via videoconferencing. She also contributes her time and effort to promote literacy among the underprivileged and those with a weak foundation in English.
