Product Description

by Ford R. Phillips (Author)

East of the Sun and West of the Moon ... This small collection is intended to be the first in a series of short stories that will all take place in and around the small village of McClane, IL. This town is a mythical creation by the author. Readers should not attempt to find or visit this place outside of these pages. The McClane of these stories and the characters within them have all been completely swept away by the wave actions of time.

Author Biography

Mr. Phillips grew up in a small town in southern Illinois at the edge of the Shawnee National Forest. At age 14, he moved to Cape Girardeau, MO, just six miles away, where he attended high school and the local university, receiving a B.S. in English and a Master of Arts in American literature. He has two grown children and has been married to the love of his life for 50 years.
