Earwig is whisked off to their mysterious house full of invisible rooms, potions, and spell books, with magic around every corner. Most children would run in terror from a house like that . . . but not Earwig. Using her own cleverness--with a lot of help from a talking cat--she decides to show the witch who's boss.

DIANA WYNNE JONES (1934-2011) pasó su infancia en Essex y empezó a escribir libros de fantasía para niños en los años setenta. Su obra, con su particular combinación de magia, humor e imaginación, fascinó a generaciones de niños y adultos. Ha ganado muchísimos premios, entre ellos el Guardian's Children Fiction Prize, el Premio Fénix de la literatura por El castillo ambulante y el Premio Mundial de Fantasía a toda su carrera.
