Eva Marie Fast is a poet who emigrated from Stockholm, Sweden to the United States at 17 years of age, to marry and have her family, gathering around her an eclectic family of artists, poets and explorers of ideas throughout her life. She gathers her inspiration from friends, family, a dog named Buster, the kindness of strangers, visits to the beach, and writing poetry from the window of her small apartment where she has a great view of the changing seasons. She lives in Waltham, MA and is the proud mother of two grown adults, two grandchildren and a healthy, happy extended family.
