Product Description

by Katherine A. Smith (Author)

Fantasy-adventure-suspense for older teens to adults. For more, visit the official website: www.elucidationimages.com/kasab/kasab_home.html What with strength, wit, long life, and the ability to fly, one would think dragons have it made. Morrigan and Kyan thought they'd learned otherwise, but their limited experience cannot prepare them for the state of the dragons they meet when they cross the sea to the land of Wost, and they know immediately that something must be done, provided they can survive long enough t accomplish anything.

Author Biography

Katherine A. Smith grew up in Fort Bragg, California, on the Mendocino Coast. With a seemingly inborn affection for science fiction and fantasy, and a predilection for drawing and writing, she started making stories and illustrating them as early as second grade. Although she's written several other stories-some completed and some not-this is the first novel she's published. She is working on an additional two novels in this series, and possibly a fourth (depends how the third one wraps up). More stories of other realms, peoples, and journeys are likely in the future. In 2003 Katherine earned a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology from Humboldt State University, and in 2006 a Graduate Certificate in Scientific Illustration from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Katherine also has several years of dance training and a second degree black belt in American Parker Kenpo Karate. Besides art, writing, and dance, Katherine enjoys bird watching, attempting to cook, anime and manga, sewing costumes, and learning Japanese (wow, that's a lot...might explain why I feel so busy...). Katherine lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her three imaginary cats (I'd have real ones, but my apartment building doesn't allow them).
