Justin "JC" Carter was still his crazy, naive, and funny self. He had laid a few demons to rest after he met his mother for the first time in 25 years and learned the heartbreaking reason she abandoned him at birth. His business partners and closest friends, Zabrina and "Big Tony" remained by his side. Together they set out to build a grander venue to replace their beloved Club Empire after Stenson and Brick famously destroyed it before they were friends.
Their happiness did not last for long after a corrupt businessman returned to steal another piece of the pie that took them a lifetime to make. Worlds were turned upside down when gangsters kidnapped Zabrina in an attempt to extort JC and Big Tony. Things went from bad to worse when the pair tried to deal with the crisis themselves, only be double-crossed and left for dead under a bridge.
With Zabrina missing, JC robbed of half a million dollars, and Big Tony hospitalized with a gunshot wound, Stenson and Brick took matters into their own hands. Their goal was simple; get the girl and their money back before anyone else was hurt.
These former soldiers had dealt with plenty of bad guys in the past and taking this crew out would child's play for them... so they thought.
These adversaries wanted to play a dangerous game. And Robert Brickhouse was happy to oblige when he burned their place to the gound. In retaliation, the gangsters torched Stenson's French Quarter pub too.
They had played this cat and mouse game before and won the bet every time. When the stakes were raised, these misfits always answered the call. But when things turned deadly all bets were off.
Tragedy struck Stenson with more pain than he had ever known. His friends did not know how to reach inside the dark place he found himself in. If not for a ghost from the past the world may have lost one of the kindest men on this earth.
Now it was time for revenge. No more fun and games. There were lives to save and together Stenson, Brick, JC, Big Tony, and Luna LeRoux would be joined by a colorful cast of characters to help them track down every soul responsible for the harm they caused no matter the danger they faced.
