Author Biography
Paul Shaw toured the U.S., Europe, and Asia for over 16 years as a jazz drummer in the US Air Force. Prior to his retirement from the Air Force, Paul toured and recorded with the Air Force Falconaires big band and taught drum line at the US Air Force Academy. He has performed and recorded with a diverse roster of artists including Bill Watrous, Wynona Judd, and The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra. Paul co-leads a jazz septet called Inside Out, that recently released their 2nd CD; The Plunge. Paul currently lives in Manhattan, NY with his wife Melanie. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in jazz at New York University and performs around the area. Paul is available for lessons through his website: paulshawmusic.com
