About the Author: Marvin Hall is an associate sociology instructor at Mt San Jacinto College in Menifee, California, a middle school social studies teacher in Moreno Valley, and a US Navy retiree. Marvin and Terri, his wife of thirty-five years, have three daughters and four grandsons. Born in Los Angeles, Marvin now lives in Murrieta, California.
