Author Biography

Katy Lennon (Text) Started her publishing career in 2013 in the Dorling Kindersley sales team, from there she was lucky enough to move into editorial and eventually find her way to What on Earth Books. She has been part of the WoE family since July 2019. She spends her day at work collaborating with authors and illustrators to craft beautiful, thought-provoking and enjoyable books. Andy Rowland (Ilustrator) Andy has always loved to draw; one of his earliest memories is of his father bringing home reams of scrap paper for him to use because he was wasting so much paper. Eventually, he studied Illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University, where, during his second year, he won the MacMillan prize for the design and illustration of a children's book. Since then he has worked as a freelancer, mainly on children's books, illustrating over a hundred books for clients such as Bloomsbury, MacMillan, Usborne, Hachette, etc. He has also worked artistically in the voluntary sector, as well as on murals, portraits, printed products.... Andy lives in Manchester, England, with his partner and two children.
