Author Biography
Nicholas Demetry, M.D., is a holistic psychiatrist. He received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. After completing his medical training, he continued his studies at the University of Hawaii, specializing in general psychiatry and transcultural studies. Dr. Demetry is Director of the Etherikos International School of Energy Healing and Spiritual Development headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. The school has offered programs and classes in the United States and more than a dozen other countries. He is Director of the Institute for Spiritual Health, a non-profit organization which promotes peace through spiritual health and education, and is also a Founding Diplomate of the American Board of Holistic Medicine. Dr. Demetry is currently in private practice in Atlanta.
