The contents of this book, which make up Volume 2 of two volumes on Indian Temple architecture, are based upon research carried out for her dissertation on temples built under the medieval Hoysala Dynasty of Karnataka. Volume 1 consists of five essays that give an introduction to the art and architecture of South Indian temples.
