Frank Zappa could be described as a "pathological contrarian". Far from being a person who aligned himself with the zeitgeist, he was one of rock music's sharpest social critics. Scott Parker is the author of nine books about the music of Frank Zappa, including his acclaimed RECORDINGS OF FRANK ZAPPA series. He is also the host of ZAPPACAST, the Frank Zappa Podcast. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and daughter.
