Author Biography

John Cimasi received his bachelor of arts at the State University of New York at Buffalo, certifications in networking and systems analysis and design from SUNY at Buffalo, and a master of science in information technology from Regis University in Colorado. The author worked as a senior manager in the information technology industry for over twenty years. During this period, he supervised teams in both small local area and global enterprise networks. The creation, implementation, and maintenance of disaster recovery and continuity of business plans were a major part of the author's professional obligation. Mr. Cimasi retired in 2008 as a senior vice president, technical infrastructure operations manager for Citigroup, Amherst, New York.
