The Director's Guide is the first in a series of three booklets designed to help individuals or groups provide a quality 5-week retreat program based on the preparation days of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. The theme throughout is how much God loves you. This book includes meeting agendas, opening and closing prayers, sample presentations, and meditations, all organized and ready to use. Book 2 contains all scripture references for the full five weeks of prayer, as well as space to write each day. Each retreatant can have his or her own book. Book 3, Write your Faith Autobiography, contains questions and places to write. Each retreatant fills out one page per day and complete his or her faith autobiography. The Preparation Days Retreat series is appropriate for parish, young adult group, or others who want an introduction to Ignatian Spirituality.
Author Biography
Ellen Tomaszewski has over 25 years experience in coordinating and directing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (19th annotation.). Together with her group, SEEL Tri-Cities, over a span of three years, Ellen has refined all the talks, prayers, and agendas in this series to make them user friendly and effective.
