Author Cassandra Reeder launched her blog, The Geeky Chef, in 2008, turning fictional food and drinks from a vast array of fandoms into reality with simple and fun recipes. Since then, a series of cookbooks based on the trailblazing blog have been published, including The Geeky Chef Cookbook and The Geeky Bartender Drinks. In 2023, she released The Video Game Chef, a nostalgia-filled culinary adventure featuring iconic foods from video games. In 2024, she co-authored Lyrics and Libations: The Ultimate 90s Cocktail Playlist, a spirited tribute to the sweet music of the '90s. When not conjuring up recipes inspired by fiction and pop culture, Cassandra can be found perusing the food carts in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two tiny agents of chaos.
Ryan Quinn has worked for Blizzard Entertainment in communications, writing, and editing roles since 2004. He authored over a decade of Blizzard's major game announcements, websites and apps, and has written fiction and in-game narrative for World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft II and Diablo Immortal. Ryan is currently a Senior Narrative Designer at Blizzard, where he crafts gloomy stories about broken people and places despite living in perpetually sunny Southern California.
