This is the true story of my parent's immigration from Sicily, Italy to Kansas City and our family's blessings, trials and struggle against poverty and prejudice. It is a story of loneliness and deprivation guided by courage and an unfailing faith in God. I've include over 100 family and historic photos to document our journey. I want future generations to know the obstacles their ancestors overcame. The same blood that crossed Europe and the Atlantic Ocean to build a new life in America runs in their veins.
