Destinesia: An Anthology of Change is created by young artists and writers attending Camp Conroy's Build-A-Book summer camp program sponsored by the Pat Conroy Literary Center and Beaufort County School District in Beaufort, SC. In this two-week summer program, local campers create stories, poetry, and art for inclusion in their book. Destinesia: An Anthology of Change is a collection of creative works representing young voices of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
The Pat Conroy Literary Center nurtures a diverse community of writers, readers, teachers, and students by offering educational programs and special events that celebrate the transformative power of story, expanding our impact through collaborations with local and national partners.
