Product Description

by Michael Dediu (Author), Michael M. Dediu (Author)

September 2018 was nice and warm, a pleasant end of summer, with preparations for the starting of school. Many good news from research in science, medicine, technology, and other areas. On 7th of September we had the National Grateful Patient Day: spreading gratitude and hope by thanking the doctors, nurses and their assistants who help the patients. Also, Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space transport company has won a contract to supply engines for the massive Vulcan rocket built by United Launch Alliance, the joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin. And researchers work on a project to develop artificial intelligence, machine autonomy, and cyber security programs for a future constellation of low-cost satellites operating in low-Earth orbit. In this 11th newsletter of the second volume, the 23rd in total, we included the most relevant news, in a balanced approach, usually directly from the source, to help the general public better understand the realities around us. We included also several nice photos. Being well and correctly informed is a sine qua non requirement for everybody, in order to make the right decisions for the future.
