Author Biography
SARA SOMMERVILLE Sara Sommerville, author of Death at the Old Mill Pond, grew up in South Carolina, in an environment quite similar to Armstrong Crossing in the novel. A lifelong wanderer, Sommerville left her home state after getting a bachelors degree in English at the University of South Carolina. She has lived and worked in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, Baltimore, Buffalo, London and Valencia, Spain. Sara and her English husband John divided their time between England and Spain for ten years, before settling in Georgia in 2010. Sara has had an illustrious career as a convention and trade show manager, and was CEO of her own company for 19 years. She won an award for writing at age 16, and has been a writer ever since. She was named Author of the Year by CONVENE, Journal of Professional Conference Management Association, where she was International Editor and Columnist for more than five years. Death at the Old Mill Pond is Sommerville's first novel, one of a series of mysteries featuring Zanna Armstrong and her family and friends.
