A father does not create life; He serves only as agent on behalf of the true Creator of life. As fathers, we have been given a divine mission to be the embodiment of God's protection, nurturance, and love to the children but more specifically, the daughters we bring into the world. But it can very well be the case that we agents fail horribly in carrying out our divine mission. Nevertheless, a father's misrepresentation of God's love does not render this divine mission of fatherhood incomplete. Our failure could never hinder God's protection, guidance, and love from reaching its destination. Therefore, if it was you who grew up without a father's protection, nurturance, and love this does not mean that you are forever precluded from such; rather it just means you will have to acquire it from sources you may not have otherwise expected.
If you are a daughter of a father who has failed this divine mission, this does not mean that you should abandon all hope of fatherly guidance. Having been born into this world as a daughter, you have a birthright to have your daughterhood perfected. It is your inherent right to be divinely guided, nurtured, and molded to your full potential. Make no mistake, this does not mean that you should go seeking out some father figure to fill the void of growing up without a father. No, there is a difference between seeking a father figure versus seeking fatherly guidance. Guidance of any sort does not have to be conveyed directly from its source but can be attained secondhand. Moreover, if you are willing to seek out this guidance, it will be found in the precious jewels of wisdom, instruction, and knowledge that exist all around you. This type of guidance will always be accessible to you as a matter of right. But like any other right, you must first exercise it.
