Product Description

by Galen Showman (Illustrator), Chris Torres (Illustrator), Chris Morea (Illustrator)

Before there was The Walking Dead there was Deadworld. First published in the 1986, Deadworld is one of indie comics longest running horror series with over 100 issues and graphic novels in release and over 1,000,000 copies sold. While being considered the 'godfather' of all the zombie apocalyptic comics that followed.

In this continuation of collecting all the original Deadworld stories into a set of 10 Archive volumes, this BOOK EIGHT features Volume Two of the series, specifically issues #5-10. Here, the lepers of Brunston are introduced and Dan is entranced by the Voodoo Queen who challenges King Zombie for control of the dead. The Dead-Killer shows the townspeople the horror of the zombies first hand so they truly understand what they're up against.

"This is thinking man's horror done right." - Comic Bastards, Adam Kelly.

"The best, in my humble opinion, of the zombie comics." - Tom Snigoski, writer Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

"I can't rave enough about this series." - Kenneth Gallant, Broken Frontier.

"This is one heck of a disturbing book and I'd definitely recommend it to new and old fans alike." - Paul Milligan, They Live to Serve.
