As such it has a universal relevance going far beyond the people of Cyprus. Author Biography
Peter Moore was born in Norfolk, England in 1944. He left an undistinguished school career at the earliest opportunity to work in commerce. Returning to education ten years later he fulfilled his dream of qualifying as a teacher of art and spent the remainder of his working life, at home and abroad, as an educator and practicing artist gaining an MA in the process. Since retirement he has divided his time equally between his artwork and writing. The current book is based on the adventures experienced by himself and his family during the Cyprus conflict of 1974 and its aftermath.
