A work describing her experiences. How she handled hardships, how she maintained hope throughout; and how she over came many obstacles before, during, and after a coma, including recovery, divorce, a rebuilding of her self-esteem and her life.

Author Biography

Lorraine (Raine) Hague was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She and her brother lived with their parents on an acreage east of Leduc, Alberta until she was 20, when she married and moved away from home. She attended school in Leduc where she gained a fondness for creative writing. She lived in the United States for a short time before returning to her home in Canada. While living in the United States she received the "Award of Excellence in Writing" from the Governor of Kentucky. Since returning to Canada she has rebuilt her life and her self-esteem. She attended college in Red Deer, Alberta, where she received her certification as a professional Virtual Assistant. She now lives in the east central portion of Alberta. Since becoming an adult her family has grown to include a son, nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and many friends. She plays banjo, is learning drumming, enjoys horseback riding and writing, as well as her Virtual Assistant work. Since becoming an adult she has had many adventures, good and bad, and doesn't hesitate to share her life experiences and her positive attitude when asked. For years her family has encouraged her to publish her writing. This book is for them.
