Product Description

by Karen Herps (Illustrator), Cai Herps (Illustrator), Karen Herps (Author)

This playful story is similar to a old favourite but with a wonderful Australian theme. Meet a cute swagger who decides to bake a man out of damper on his open bush fire. To his surprise his dinner comes alive and up jumps the cheeky damper man who runs away after a cheeky little tune. He mocks the swagger. The damper man just grinned and said 'Run, run, run as fast as you can. I'm too fast, I'm the damper man'. During this tale the damper man meets some Australian animals named a Koala, Lizard, Kangaroo and a very wise Platypus. The damper man learns the lesson about not being cheeky and teasing too late as he is gobbled up. He has been out smarted by the usual marsupial Platypus.
