This manual contains details of ICT tools and applications for various office processes in general and library in particular. The manual tends to educate each user on the need of taking advantage of numerous ICTs tools and applications created to make the office work easy. These tools and applications include the following: Bar-Coding Technology, Electronic Mail (E-Mail), Reprographic Technology, Fax (Facsimile Transmission/ Tele Fax), Database Services, Library Management Software Package, CAS & SDI Services, Computer Technology, Indexing and Abstracting Services, Institutional Repositories, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) among others too numerous to mention here. The library processes are complex, using manual methods to achieve its objective can be cumbersome. The introduction of technology has help to shape the library services positively thereby making library work more effectively and efficiently. With the coming of technology, information dissemination has become a whole lot easier and faster. This manual is divided into two main sections. Section A deals mainly with use of computers and other ICT tools in in processing information in the office environment, while section B deals with ICT application to Library operations.
