Product Description

by Maggie Charnock (Author)

This story begins when my 85-year-old mother asks me to take her out of her nursing home, and I do, against the advice of the doctor. Her dementia was severe. Someone had to be with her 24 hours a day. During the month that I had her at home, her ravaged mind somehow allowed her spirit to reveal and deal with problems that had plagued her all her life and that everyone thought were just a negative part of her otherwise delightful personality-but turned out to be caused by actual demons.

Author Biography

Maggie Charnock is a pseudonym, but this is a true account in every detail, based on notes I took during the period discussed and my memory of past events. I may have substituted some similar word for a few of my mother's misapplied words, such as, "Are the skies banana today?" when my memory was not exact--but very few even of these. Nothing is exaggerated or added or omitted in this true story.
