The stories involve Coyote, known for his magic and trickery and offer some explanations for why the landscape and animals look the way they do today. Also tells the tale of how the Nez Perce believed all the tribes were created by Coyote. 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the Nez Perce tribe to help further their language and cultural programs.

Author Biography

Jennifer grew up on the east coast and is of Taino descent. She was always fascinated with Native American lore and traditions and this led her to move to Idaho as an adult where she met and married John Walker, a Nez Perce native who shared his tribal traditions and stories with her. She lives in Kamiah, Idaho with John, her two sons Amzie & Mathias, John's son Ma'cqoy and their small "pack" of dogs and cats.
