As it grew from empty farmland to a thriving city with over 120,000 citizens in less than 40 years, the planners of Coral Springs were always preparing for the future: land for schools and parks was set aside before a road was paved, and deed and zoning restrictions governed the construction of every building. But there was always time for spontaneity-Coral Springs grilled its way into the Guinness Book of World Records by cooking the world's largest hamburger.
